The practical part
Here’s how to get there.
Board at the pick-up stop, not the set-down one
TITSA’s line 10 page says the line uses both airport stops: 7571 Aeropuerto Tenerife Sur to pick up and 8326 Aeropuerto Sur Salidas only to set down. Look for the stop marked for boarding, with the bus displayed for Intercambiador.

Ride to Santa Cruz Intercambiador
Line 10 runs along the TF-1 motorway via Cruce San Isidro to Santa Cruz Intercambiador. The interchange is also where tram line 1 to La Laguna and the lines to Puerto de la Cruz, Costa Adeje and Anaga leave from.
Do not plan a stop at Caletillas
Towards Santa Cruz the bus calls at Caletillas only to set passengers down; towards the airport it calls there only to pick up. TITSA asks you not to use line 10 if you want to board there on the way into town.

How long does the bus from Tenerife South Airport to Santa Cruz take?
TITSA prints a trip length of 55 minutes on the line 10 page. The timetable below shows the published departures from the airport and from the interchange for the day you travel; a few trips carry footnotes, which are printed with them.

After the last line 10: night line 711
TITSA’s line 10 page points to night line 711 for travel to the airport outside the line 10 timetable. Line 711 runs every night between Santa Cruz Intercambiador, the south airport, Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje Station; towards Costa Adeje it calls at the airport’s departures terminal.
Going on to La Laguna or Puerto de la Cruz
From Santa Cruz Intercambiador, line 15 and tram line 1 continue to La Laguna, and line 100 runs to Puerto de la Cruz. Each has its own guide and timetable on this site, so plan the second leg before you leave the airport.

The other half of the plan
And the way back.
For the return, board line 10 at Santa Cruz Intercambiador on a trip displayed for Aeropuerto Sur; it sets you down at the departures stop. Allow for the full 55-minute published trip length plus your airline’s check-in time, and remember that a few early departures run only on working days, as the footnotes say.
