Who runs this website and app

Tenerife Bus is an independent travel guide and mobile app by SD2 Studio. For privacy questions or requests about data you have sent us, email [email protected] and mention Tenerife Bus.

Analytics and cookies

Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner. It helps us understand page visits and actions such as opening an official timetable, an activity link or app information.

Declining keeps Google Analytics disabled. We store your choice in a first-party cookie for up to one year. After acceptance, Google Analytics uses its own cookies to measure visits. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and advertising user data remain disabled.

Reopen Cookie settings in the footer and decline to stop further analytics collection and remove this site’s Google Analytics cookies. This does not delete data already sent to Google. Google’s privacy policy.

Hosting

Cloudflare hosts this website and processes requests needed to deliver and protect it, including network information such as your IP address. Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Saved places and journeys

Saving stores page identifiers in this browser’s local storage for this island. No account is needed and the shortlist is not sent to us. It is shared by every language version of this site. Remove individual items on the Saved page or clear browser storage. Saving works independently of analytics consent.

Videos and live views

Video preview images load from YouTube’s image service, which receives your IP address and technical request information. The external video or live-stream player loads only after you choose to load it. Loading YouTube contacts Google and makes its privacy terms apply, separately from your choice about this site’s analytics. Camera links open the camera provider’s website and its own privacy terms apply.

GetYourGuide links

Pages show locally hosted destination photos and direct affiliate links, and the Experiences and destination pages also show GetYourGuide’s activity panel. If you accepted cookies, the panel loads when you scroll to it; otherwise it loads only when you press “Show experiences”. Loading it, or opening a link, contacts GetYourGuide, which receives your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies; its own privacy and cookie terms then apply. GetYourGuide’s privacy policy.

Affiliate and external links

Some GetYourGuide links are affiliate links. They include our publisher, website campaign and link-placement identifiers so an eligible booking can earn us a commission. Opening an external website makes its privacy and cookie policies apply. We do not receive your booking or payment details through this website.

Kiwitaxi transfer links use a Travelpayouts tracking redirect before opening Kiwitaxi. Travelpayouts and Kiwitaxi process ordinary request and booking information under their own terms.

Read Kiwitaxi’s privacy policy .

Contacting us

Email links open your email application. If you write to us, we receive the contact details and message you choose to send and use them to handle your enquiry. Send only information needed for the question or correction.

Mobile app: local and offline data

The current Tenerife Bus app includes pinned, dated TITSA schedules for offline browsing and journey planning. Saved places, journey choices, settings and any local ride history stay on your device unless you choose a feature that clearly sends data. No account or location permission is required for planning. Remove saved items and ride history with the app controls where offered. Uninstalling normally removes ordinary local app storage. On iOS, the SecureStore purchase-access cache uses the system Keychain and may remain after uninstalling and reinstalling on iOS; it is not a guaranteed backup or a substitute for Restore Purchases.

Location and optional contributions

Location access is optional. When nearby or map features are enabled and you allow access, the app can use your position to show nearby stops, place you on a map and show the direction your phone is facing. The current Canary apps do not enable the GO ride companion or network-backed in-app data reports. If a later version offers them, it will ask before a GO ride starts or before you submit a report. A submitted report contains only the details, optional contact information and optional location you choose to provide. A consented GO contribution follows progress along that ride, uses a one-time ride code rather than an account or permanent device identifier, and keeps the uploaded raw trace for up to one year. Reports or contributions prepared offline may wait locally on the device until a connection is available.

Crash diagnostics and analytics

Tenerife Bus uses Sentry as a data processor for crash and error reports in the regional Sentry project (tenerife-bus), used only for this app. A report contains technical information: the error and where in the app it happened, the app version, device model and operating-system version, and the recent in-app steps that led to it. Sentry also receives app-session health and sampled performance timings. On Android, a small sample of error reports may include a short screen replay of the moments before the error, with on-screen text and images masked. This data is not linked to you and is not used for tracking or advertising. Text or contact details are included only if you choose to send a problem report. Product analytics (PostHog) is not enabled in this app. Other Canary apps keep Sentry disabled until their region-specific configuration enables it. We will update this notice before enabling collection whose description materially changes. Sentry’s privacy policy.

Tenerife Bus also sends app performance and error reports to Expo (EAS Observe), the service that builds the app. They cover how long launch and the first screen take, with the device state at that moment (for example battery and network type), any memory warnings, and any unhandled app error with its message and the place in the app code where it happened. Each report carries the device model, operating-system version, language, app version and a random installation identifier. They help us spot slow starts and crashes, are not linked to you and are not used for tracking or advertising. Expo’s privacy policy.

Purchases

When the configured SDK starts, RevenueCat creates or uses an anonymous app-scoped customer identifier and processes device and app information, storefront and offering information, and current entitlement status. The app refreshes customer access and may warm the available offers at startup, even if you do not buy anything. If you buy or restore access, Apple or Google processes the payment and RevenueCat additionally processes the store receipt and purchase history. SD2 Studio and RevenueCat do not receive your full card details. Store and RevenueCat records follow their legal, fraud-prevention and account-retention requirements; deleting local app data does not cancel or erase a store transaction. RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Your choices and rights

You can use planning without GPS, refuse optional permissions, stop a GO ride if that feature is offered, and choose whether to include contact details in a report. For access, correction or deletion requests about identifiable information held by SD2 Studio, email [email protected] and name Tenerife Bus. A GO trace has no account or permanent device identifier, so we may not be able to locate it from your email address alone. Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Sentry, Expo, PostHog and other linked providers handle requests for information they control under their own privacy policies.
