The practical part
The essentials
Read the tab for your day, not today's
TITSA prints Sundays and holidays on one table of their own, and several lines have a separate Saturday table too; the boards switch to the holiday table on the Canary holidays they map. Open the board for the day you travel and read the return direction before you decide where to spend the day.

Departures are not arrivals
A time on the board is when the bus leaves the stop TITSA times, not when it reaches yours: on line 40 towards Costa Adeje the bus does not even pick up at intermediate stops unless someone alights. Be at the stop early, and when the last bus is the one you need, be there earlier still. TITSA promises no connection between two of its lines.

Treat a change as two separate last buses
A journey through Santa Cruz Intercambiador or Puerto de la Cruz station is two lines, and the last bus on the second leg is your real limit. Fix the second leg first, then the first leg that lands you at the interchange with a margin; this site draws such a journey as a change rather than a single line so the two limits stay visible.

If you miss it
Taxis wait at both airport terminals, and Aena's pages describe where; agree nothing by the kerb that is not on the meter. This site has no verified transfer partner for Tenerife and recommends none, and it will not pretend a bus exists after the last one printed. In the south, the 711 is the real last bus and it runs every night; in the north, the last 30 and the last 20 are the last buses, full stop.

Where the last departures are published
On this site's dated boards, which print what TITSA's line page said on the day it was read and withdraw their times after the show-until date they print; the line pages are dynamic and carry the fetch time as their only date, so a dated snapshot and its checksum are the edition markers, and each page is the source its board cites. On the day, the notice at the stop wins over anything here.

The returns that need extra care
Teide: lines 342 and 348 have one bus down, so the return is fixed before you go and missing it is a taxi from the cable car base. Anaga: line 946 returns leave Almáciga and pass Taganana a few minutes later, with few of them and no other bus. Masca: the gorge walk ends at the sea and the booked boat to Los Gigantes, not at a bus stop, and line 355 prints Sundays with Mondays and Tuesdays. The west coast: the last 477 or 473 decides the day. La Gomera: the ferry is a separate booking, and a bus delay does not hold a sailing.

Late landings and the next day's date
The 711 runs every night through TFS, Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje and boards at Departures, not at the arrivals stop. Its small-hours trips sit at the end of the evening's tab, not on the next day's: on a Friday-night landing, stay on Friday's tab and read past the evening rows, and count from the moment you have your bags, not from touchdown. Tenerife North has no night bus this site can print.

Asked and answered
Questions people ask
When is the last bus on Tenerife?
It depends on the line and the day, and this site will not put a time in a sentence: the dated board on each journey guide and destination page prints the last departure for weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays-and-holidays. Read the tab for your day before you go out; the board is the answer, and the operator's page is only its citation.

What if I miss the last bus?
A taxi, or a night where you are. At the airports, taxis wait at both terminals and Aena's pages describe where; in the south the 711 keeps running through the night, in the north nothing does. Nothing on this site offers a bus after the last one TITSA printed.

Why is the bus not at my stop at the printed time?
Because TITSA times departures, not arrivals: the printed time belongs to the stop the operator times, and the bus reaches yours a little before or after it. The board tells you when the bus leaves, the destination page tells you the stops, and the margin is yours to add.

The other half of the plan
And the way back.
Pick the return from the tab for your day before you leave, take the departure before the tight one, be at the stop early because the time is a departure and not an arrival, and fix the second leg of a change first. If the plan does not add up, a taxi is the honest answer.
